Welcome to your new home! We are the organizing committee of the 2018 S.H. Ho Orientation Camp, and would like to inform you of the details about S.H. Ho College Student Orientation Camp.
Programme Information
An orientation day will be held on 26 Aug, and the orientation camp will be held from 28 August (morning) to 31 August, please take note of the following arrangements:
Orientation Day
- Date: 26 August
- Time: Around 12:40 noon (Subject to further notice of your group leaders)
- Location: the Open Area of University MTR Station Exit A. (near Goddess of Democracy).
- Remarks:
- Please complete the “Health Declaration Forms”, and return to the camp helper.
- You have to complete and submit your hostel roommate preference form on this day, which will be distributed to you on the orientation day.
- If you want to indicate your preference of roommate and hostel, but CAN’T attend the orientation day, please contact Mr. Emery Chan (emerychan@cuhk.edu.hk) on or before 22 August.
Orientation Camp
- Date: 28 August
- Time: Around 8:30 am (Subject to further notice of your group leaders)
- Location: Open Area of University MTR Station Exit A
- Remarks:
- Please come after breakfast.
- Please prepare formal suit and shoes for the College Matriculation Ceremony on 28 August, please refer to the enclosed “College Matriculation 2018” for you reference.
- You will be arranged to move-in to your hostel room of the new academic year in the morning of 28 Aug:
- Please present your CU-Link Card to collect your room key and mail box key on 3/F, Chan Chun Ha Hall, S.H. Ho College.
- On or Before 28 Aug, please complete the SHHO Student Check-in Form (2018-2019) through https://cloud.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/webform/view.php?id=3594023, otherwise, you will not be able to collect keys.
- Please pay the exact amount of the following fee(s) in cash to your respective Resident Council during move-in on 28 Aug:
HO Tim Hall Residents:
- HKD200 Resident Council Fee
LEE Quo Wei Hall Residents:
- HKD160 Resident Council Fee

Withdrawal from Orientation Camp
The S.H. Ho College Student Orientation Camp is compulsory for all new students. Students with special reasons, who need to withdraw from the camp are required to contact Mr. Emery Chan in the Dean of Students’ Office at 3943-1442 or email him at emerychan@cuhk.edu.hk
