What is College? Bearing this question in mind, I entered CUHK 40 years ago. After experiencing four years of college life, and my involvement in S.H. Ho College more than a decade, I have come to realise that college is one of the most precious and indispensable journeys for a person’s life development. University marks a significant phase where a teenager transforms into an adult, starting to understand both themselves and the world. During this period full of ups and downs, S.H. Ho College serves as a home away from home. Apart from dining and accommodation, what is even more important is the companionship and guidance provided by parents and siblings from the College in this transformation phase.
