Dear Students,
S.H. Ho College is pleased to invite applications for “Sketching Hokuriku”, an immersive art journey scheduled for 12–19 May 2026.
This sketching tour will be led by Prof. Ng Yuet-lau, a renowned master of the Lingnan School of Chinese painting, Honorary Fellow of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and S.H. Ho College. Prof. Ng, together with teachers from the Ling Ngai Art Association, will guide students in on-site sketching throughout the journey. The tour will bring students into the early summer landscapes of Japan’s Hokuriku region, including Hida Takayama, Kamikōchi, the Tateyama–Kurobe and Kanazawa. Mountains, rivers, historic towns, gardens, and coastlines will serve as rich sources of inspiration for sketching and artistic reflection. Along the way, instructors will conduct regular art sharing and critique sessions, encouraging students to observe deeply, paint thoughtfully, and learn from one another.
善衡書院現誠邀同學報名參加 「寫生日和：日本北陸畫旅」，定於 2026 年 5 月 12 日至 19 日 舉行。 是次畫旅將由著名嶺南畫派畫家伍月柳教授親自領隊。伍教授現為香港中文大學、香港理工大學及中大善衡書院榮譽院士，並將聯同嶺藝會多位老師隨團指導。旅程結合實地寫生、評畫交流及文化探索，讓同學在慢行之中，連結自然景觀、藝術創作與感受內心。 我們將帶領同學走進日本北陸地區的初夏風景，包括飛驒高山、上高地、立山黑部及金澤。沿途的山川、河流、歷史城鎮、庭園與海岸線，將為寫生與藝術思考提供豐富靈感。旅程期間，老師們將定時分享與評畫，引導同學深入觀察、創作，並互相學習。

HK$7,990 per person (With College support of HK$9,810; original full fee: HK$17,800. Fee includes air tickets, accommodation, tour guide, and most meals. Visa and other personal expenses are not included.) |

A reimbursement of HK$500 will be offered to students with over 80% dining attendance in Term 2, 2025/26. |
